CranioSacral Therapy I

Synopsis: 

CSI is designed to build the foundation for understanding the function of the craniosacral system and to teach/practice techniques to effect change.

Course Highlights:

  1. Explore the anatomy and physiology of the craniosacral system and its relationship to illness, pain and dysfunction
  2. Discover hands-on, fascial-release techniques to evaluate and alleviate a range of pain and dysfunction.
  3. Practice a 10-Step Protocol you can use immediately to evaluate and help patients.
  4. Watch an educational slide show that examines the inside of the human cranium.
  5. Observe skilled demonstrations and participate in hands-on practice.

Specific techniques include:

  1. Subtle palpation of three rhythms: heart, respiratory, craniosacral
  2. Release of pelvic diaphragms, thoracic inlet and occipital cranial base
  3. CV4 and other still-point inductions
  4. V-spread
  5. Frontal lift
  6. Parietal lift
  7. Sphenoid compression-decompression
  8. Temporal techniques: mastoid wobble, circumferential, ear pull (bilateral decompression)
  9. Dural tube evaluation, traction and correction
  10. TMJ techniques
  11. 10-step Protocol
