The power of CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation has been amazing. Besides empowering me with a wider skill set, it has developed my inner intuition which is highly recommended for any manual therapy practitioner.

The combination of cranial/visceral manipulation with manipulative physiotherapy is rewarding in managing patients with complex neuro musculoskeletal disorders. I strongly encourage fellow physiotherapists to open their ‘hands’ to this approach.

In my work on enhancing the sensori-motor development of children, I find that CST is very useful in the preparatory stage.  Other than relaxing them, it helps to release the tight musculatures of the body.  CST is a good complement to the work I do.

Visceral Manipulation/Craniosacral Therapy worked marvelously in most of my patients.  A gentle touch produced a myriad of outstanding effects that blew my mind away.  Patients queued up by word of mouth.  One of my patients remarked, “That touch had eased me of my back pain in an instant. I couldn’t believe that your supple hands can actually feel that seemingly imperceptible movement in my organs.  Less force really works a lot.”

Testimonials from clients

My 9-year-old son has been doing CST for the past 2 years or so. At first I was rather skeptical about how a light touch of the hands can bring about healing properties, but I was impressed that even during the first session, Kyoko was able to bring about the release of a lot of heat from my son’s head and body.
I see the effects of CST most when my son is feeling most stressed, like during school exam time. CST helps him to calm down and concentrate on focusing in his studies. It works on memory and attention span, and makes it a lot easier for me to work with him. Likewise when my son experiences difficulty in school such as bullying or social issues, CST is an outlet for him to release his emotions and frustrations and at the same time gives him something to feel good about.
I trust my son in Kyoko’s good hands to bring about relief in various issues dealing with his emotions and inner-being.

My son, who was delivered under emergency caesarean, has been with Healing Gardens since he was 4 years old. He was diagnosed with high-functioning autism at the age of 3.5. We first brought him to the occupational therapist to address his physical and sensory problems. After less than a year his therapist recommended cranial sacral therapy (CST). She explained cranial sacral as the software to work hand in hand with occupational therapy, which is the hardware aspect, so as to expedite treatments on my son.
He was an extremely careful kid. He was afraid of falls and heights. He also suffered from a lot of sensory problems He seemed to be in the ‘shut-down’ mode most of the time. His sensory problems encompass) spatial problem, i.e. he could not gauge how far away is the horizon when we brought him to the sea.
b) Afraid of high-pitch sound mainly dogs’ barking
c) Afraid of haircut, especially when the barber cut behind the ears
d) Afraid of children crowding around him
e) Afraid of hair blower and hand dryer.
We could see him overcoming these problems when we sent him for cranial-sacral therapy. After about 6 months he was able to let the barber cut his hair. Gradually together with OT and CST he was able to withstand crowds, able to let us shower over his head, in the public toilet he will go to the hand dryer after washing his hands. As he grows older we could feel that he is able to manage stress with the help of CST especially when exams are around the corner. Though he is still very afraid of dogs, he could tolerate dogs barking.
We would strongly recommend CST to children suffering from autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Dyspraxia and birth-trauma.

I had CranioSacral Therapy treatments with Boon Sim during my pregnancy. Not only was she able to release my pelvic tensions, my water retention did not return even after 2 days. I also had better bladder and bowel movements. My baby was much calmer and I could sleep better – Madam Ong, mother of 2. Client of Tan Boon Sim.

When my client (age 22) came to see me, he had been bleeding from the nose for a few months. He had been to the hospital and the doctor told him that the veins near the surface of the skin were too thin. They could not do anything for him. Subsequently, he came to see me. I did some facial and mouth work. The bleeding stopped after 1 CST session. Low Guat Tin, Holistic Therapist.
